Thank you for your interest in the New York State Society. Being a member has many advantages such as invitations to special events, discounted tickets, network links, and fellowship with other New Yorkers. Also, NYSS is proud to have a long history of support and personal participation by New York Senators and Representatives. With the information you provide, we are able to keep members informed of special events, meetings and NYSS news. Please be assured that personal information will not be shared or sold.
Your dues along with corporate sponsorships finance Society events. We rely on members for planning and implementation and encourage your participation through sponsorship, volunteerism, and by supporting events. We are always looking for members with new ideas and the willingness to volunteer time. Our success is because of members who work so hard to make things happen!
Membership Criteria: (must meet one of the following)
- Legal resident of New York State
- Hometown or school affiliation
- A “friend” of New York State
- Member of another State Society
- Resided in or employed in New York State for at least two years
