If your corporation would benefit from promotion between the New York Congressional Delegation and our 500+ person membership comprised of business and government leaders both in the greater Washington, DC metropolitan area and New York, then now is an excellent time to become a corporate partner of the New York State Society of Washington, D.C.(NYSS).

NYSS is 102 years young and serves as a vital link for individuals and organizations with business, social or political ties to New York. We enjoyed record participation by NYSS members and sponsors as well as the NY Congressional Delegation and staff at the many events hosted by the Society. Activities included a reception “Honoring the Connection” between Canada and New York State, sporting events with the Mets, Nets and Buffalo Sabres, the Belmont Stakes, Happy Hours and Congressional receptions on Capitol Hill, Buffalo Nite in Washington D.C., New York State Day at the National Cathedral, and the New York State booth at the National Book Festival.

The New York State Society of Washington, D.C. is proud to support the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, Honor Flight Network, Pull Tabs for Charity, White House Commission on Remembrance, Kidney Health Alliance of Kentucky, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, and Heart of America.

We are building upon this success with many upcoming events that may include policy forums on Capitol Hill, a wine tasting of New York State’s finest vintages, a down-state New York State event, tours of the National Archives and Library of Congress, and a wreath laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. As always, NYSS works hard to highlight the support of our sponsors at all of our events as well as in our newsletter, website and other communications.

We invite you to become a NYSS corporate member to enjoy the many benefits the Society has to offer. The mission of the New York State Society is to foster and promote friendly relations among its members through social, educational, cultural, charitable and civic programs and activities. NYSS is a non-profit, non-political 501(c)(7) and a member of the National Conference of State Societies which was formally created by an Act of Congress on April 3, 1952.
